Environmental Stewardship Goals

To develop the land within the following best management practices;
  • Land Objective: That we provide the least amount of disruption to the Topography and the Forest Floor, maintaining as many specimen trees and forest floor growth, as possible. Pockets within the landscape are then newly planted, creating additional landscape vistas.

  • Sustainability: That the landscape is able to achieve between 100% to a minimum of 85% full sustainability. That 2nd & 3rd generation plants are maintained as part of the overall design, that natural habitats are preserved and/or enhanced.

  • Watershed Objective: That all the rainwater that is shed from new impervious surfaces would be filtered and infiltrated on site. The goal for water storage capacity would be to achieve a storage volume equal to that of a 100 year storm event.

    That as much of the naturalized water infiltration infrastructure remains intact. That there is no watershed impact to adjoining properties beyond what existed in pre-development conditions.
